This enamelware tea kettle is the "Kehrä" design by Raija Uosikkinen for Finel and made in Finland in the 60s. It's one of the more popular of the Finel tea kettle designs, especially if you can find the mugs to go with it!
It's made of enameled steel so you can use it to heat water on top of the stove but it will work best on a small burner. You can also use it as a teapot if you prefer!
This one is in very nice good condition. The enamel is glossy and there's NO mineral buildup inside. There are two chips on the very edge of the lid; these do not show at all when the lid is in place. There's also a chip in the black edge around the top of the kettle but fortunately the dark steel blend in with the black enamel and it's not very noticeable. There are also two tiny flakes on the underside of the spout.
There is no rust at all.
The handle is made of annodized aluminum; this has a tiny bit of light oxidation where it's attached to the kettle deals.
