Cork Hobo Bag Purse Crossbody or deals Shoulder Bag

Roomy, sturdy and lightweight CORK Hobo Bag in a beautiful marble gingerbread color. This purse is 14.25" wide, stands 9 1/2" tall upon a 4" base. The front of the purse has a zippered pocket with a ginger colored zipper. The marble gingerbread is a gentle brown cork laid on top of a copper backing that peeks through and adds shimmer and light. Marble indicates that the cork was freely placed when laid out, not placed in straight rows.

The inside lining is a high quality quilting cotton that is fully interfaced. The lining color is a delicately speckled light brown On one side inside is a zippered pocket with a light brown zipper. On the other side is one deep pocket divided into two and rimmed on top with cork.

The purse zips closed on top with a ginger colored zipper. The strap is 1 1/4" wide and 54" long, adjustable. The empty purse weighs 13.9 ounces. Lightweight, but sturdy.

The quality of the cork fabric is excellent. It is soft, yet durable and stands up well to continuous carry.

The pattern I used for this purse is by Sincerely, Jen and she named it the Ugly Naked Guy Hobo Bag, named after one of the characters on the T.V. show Friends. It is the nicest hobo bag pattern I could find to suit my style. Elsewhere on my site this purse is also available in different colors, for example in a sparkly unicorn roots and a deep reddish merlot. I'm happy to make it in the color of your choice.

"Cork Fabric is fabric backed cork strips created sustainably from the bark of cork oak trees in Portugal. First, the cork bark is harvested from the cork oak trees with machetes. Removing the bark from the cork oak trees does not harm the tree. The life expectancy for a cork tree is 200 years, and can be harvested every 10 years, so a single cork oak tree can be harvested multiple times while living a healthy life!
