Handmade Ceramic Serving Fruit deals Bowl

I absolutely love making serving bowls. This is one of my favorites that I've made so far. This is a wide platter type bowl with wavy sides. The neutral colors would go well in any kitchen or dining table. The bowl was first formed on a potter's wheel. After drying, it was then trimmed of excess clay and deals a foot ring trimmed. Afterwards, I wire cut waves into the rim. After fully drying for a few days, the platter was put into the kiln for the first firing. After the first firing, two glazes were sprayed onto the piece. The platter is then fired again. Finally, the platter is sanded on the bottom to ensure smooth contact with table surfaces.
