The Praktica Super TL is a 35mm SLR camera manufactured by VEB Pentacon in Dresden (GDR, former East Germany). Prakticas in general are well-designed and built to last.
It features an M42 lens mount and stop-down TTL metering and a focal plane shutter. The SUper TL was in production between 1968 and 1976.
The universal 42 mm thread lens mount makes this film camera compatible with a wide array of lenses.
This camera comes with the famous Meyer Gorlitz Oreston 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. This lens is very good at rendering warm colours and creates a distinctive vintage look.
Very good lens for 35mm film photography. It produces wonderful razor sharp images with great Bokeh. It is very easy to focus with this lens because of the center sharpness.
The lens is in excellent vintage condition, free of fungus, haze or scratches on the elements.
Compatible with most modern digital cameras with the use of an adapter.
The camera and the lens are in excellent vintage condition, some small signs of use on the camera and the lens (please see pictures for details).
Camera and lens have been tested and are in good working condition.
