This Tuna was hand fabricated in my studio. The fins and tail are hand engraved. The back of the piece is just as intriguing as the front. This piece represents one of the species out of the seven that I made for the 2014 Fish Series. The other species are Amberjack, Bonita, Dorado, Red Snapper, Red Drum, Wahoo, and Angel Fish. This piece measures roughly 60x26x7.25mm; the bail will accomodate a 3.5mm chain. Necklace options are: 16" Sterling silver round snake chain 18" Sterling silver round snake chain Cloisonné is an enameled jewel with the inclusion of fine silver or 24K gold ribbons within the design to create a “drawing” or separation of color within the jewel. This decorative piece is then typically bezel set within a piece of jewelry, like a stone would be captured. I create one of a kind custom jewelry. From sketch to fabrication, I create and design with beauty and functionality in deals mind. I like to use references of living creatures to capture the colors of the species fa.
