This is a soft, cuddly doll made in the Waldorf tradition. I am overjoyed to present the materials I used to make it, which are almost 100% natural and undyed - with a few tiny exceptions: the eyes, the lips, cheek blush, and elastic band at the top of the dresses.

After over two years of hopes and dreams, I finally found and stocked certified organic, color grown cotton fabric suitable to make a doll. Color grown cotton means that the cotton plants grow in naturally occurring shades of white, brown, and green.

So here it is, the ultimate natural earth tone Waldorf doll!

The skin is a warm brown shade of jersey (natural, undyed). The clothes are made of organic cotton fabric and yarn, either color grown in a natural white, green, and brown, or in white. The hair is organic Angel Touch alpaca yarn in natural brown shades (certified by SKAL for organic quality, sourced from www.perunaturtex.com). The button on the cardigan is natural wood. And the fill is certified organic wool.

For the eyes and lips, I have used dyed organic cotton yarn and Stockmar crayon for the cheek blush.

The doll's long hair can be gently combed and styled using a broad toothed comb or fingers.

The outfit includes: 2 dresses, a cardigan, pompom hat, white underpants, 2 crocheted, and 2 dress fabric ribbons.

Size: 30 cm / 12 deals inch tall.

Suitable for children and 3+ and not suitable for children who still chew on their toys.

Care: I recommend spot cleaning plus blow-drying, plus keep the doll away from the porridge, the sandpit, and the bath. The doll can be washed, but drying may be difficult, especially the head. The clothes are fully washable on a gentle cycle or by hand with mild soap.
