A simple, unique piece of art.
The artist, Gloria Faith Nobrega, carved (stippled) a 2-½” ribbon with eight (8) palm trees around the 19” (+/-) circumference of this gourd. The top was carved, as well, and the remainder of the gourd was hand painted (dyed) an ocean green. The entire piece was sealed with a varnish made specifically for gourds. The gourd was signed and dated by the artist on the bottom.
NOTE: The dyes, inks and/or stains used to make this beautiful piece may fade in sunlight. Although the entire piece was sealed with a varnish made specifically for gourds, which offers some protection, it is highly recommended that you keep the piece out of direct sunlight, if possible. Additionally, the piece is for decorative purposes only and should not be used for food or water.
The gourd measures approximately 5.75” tall – 6.25” wide – 19” circumference.
