* The jars sit in a metal band, so they can be removed for cleaning.
This is rustic reclaimed wood, so it will have variations in color and texture. It will have old nail holes and knots, but that is what gives it character. It is lightly sanded to make for a smoother surface, but retain the character of the wood.
