This is a wonderful vintage set of four placemats and six coasters. They come from English Life and were made in England. They are a hard placemat and have a layer of cork on the bottoms, with a hard plastic like layer in the center and the plaid looks like a hard cardboard with a protective satin finish. These placemats are very easy to clean up with a damp cloth. They are in really great condition with some minor blemishes here and there, however nothing that stands out at all in my opinion. The coasters are in excellent condition as well. I just love the look of a nice tartan plaid and this tartan plaid is Royal Stewart. Its perfect for a fall and winter table setting as well as the Christmas holidays! The original placemat box is included and the coasters will fit in deals it as well.
