This is a stunning Indiana Glass Co. #2228 HARVEST PITCHER circa 1970 Footed or Pedestal shape, turned in spout, sturdy handle, grape vine motif The color is GORGEOUS iridescent Blue Teal color with hints of gold and purple - its literally ON FIRE in some light! Large & heavy - can hold a HUGE floral arrangement easily! The original ad last photo: 70oz 10 1/2 high 7 1/2 deep and 6 dia. Over time this Harvest pattern was also deals known as Harvest Grape, Blue Harvest or Colony. This stunner would be beautiful just as a display item, to serve Water, wine or sangria. The folded spout will keep the ice (or fruit) in when you pour - which is very handy for Sangria! Excellent condition no chips or cracks, very glossy and beautiful.
