Celestial Relief Print on deals Japanese Paper

This is a relief print made from carved wood. The celestial design features an eye, sun deals, star, Lilith symbol and a moon that encases a circle with a triangle in it. Washi, Japanese paper was used to make the print, it is a very thin, delicate light blue paper that was made by hand in a traditional manner. Speedball ink was used for the two color print (red and yellow).
This print was made over six weeks using the Parsons School of Design's Printmaking Lab in 2016. It is an artist's print, the original print was an edition of 10, at this time 5 prints are available for sale. The image measures 12x9" and there is a half inch border around the image, bringing the total paper size to 13x10". This item will be shipped protected by cardboard in a padded envelope.
