Vintage Accordion Style Wooden Sewing Box Filled w/ Sewing Supplies. Vintage from the 1950's. Materials ~ wood, nails, fabric top. This stunning wooden sewing storage box is constructed with slatted hinges screwed on the front & back that hides three layers of covered trays. Measures 18” wide x 9” deep x 9.5” tall when closed. Top 4 compartments are 8”'square and bottom is size of entire box. When fully open it is 51.5” wide. Some nicks and scratches consistent with age but structurally sound. The top fabric would benefit from cleaning. One of the bottom slats is missing as pictured, the box still sits flush ~ this doesn't affect it being flat. Great display farmhouse, shabby chic, vintage display piece OR use it for storage & deals organization. It's filled with sewing goodies. Estate sale find.
