Beautiful and simple gem stone post earrings. These are 5 mm Rhodolite garnets that have been bezel set in an 18 kt yellow gold setting. The posts and ear nuts are sterling silver. The posts are soldered and sturdy, the ear nuts heavy gauge. Rhodolite garnets are a lovely pink-red color.

Rose cut gems have such a nice old fashioned look that have become new and modern again. I just love them. These garnets look like a pinky-red, just like in the photos.
