A very striking necklace and earring set- it stands out for most others due to its gorgeous color. I would best describe it as a rich, turquoise/azure blue. The last photo shows the color most accurately. All parts, including hardware, are original & work well. I would guess the material of the beads to be made of a clay or ceramic type material. In the close-up photo of the beads, you can see that they appear to have been hand rolled (?), as they are not all exactly the same perfectly shaped globe. As well, the dye or paint is just a bit irregular here and there, for the suggesting that they were hand made, rather than machine made. This is adds to the depth & vibrancy of color of this piece. Very eye-catching! The little beads on the matching earrings appear to be made of a Lucite/plastic material. Close-up photo of shows 2 lines that look like cracks. These are in the enamel only and do not go through to the metal of the petals. A deals wonderful set for year-round use!.
