♦ We plate our chains with a heavy layer of 14k gold ranging in thickness from 25 mils to 75 mils depending on the style and size of the base chain. We find these thicknesses to be extremely durable. All of our plating is done in the USA.
♦ Under normal wearing conditions and with proper care, our gold plated chains should maintain their authentic gold outer layer and give you many years of wear and enjoyment.
♦ To keep the gold finish looking its best, it is recommended that you remove your chain before showering or swimming. Avoid spraying perfumes, creams, chemicals, or other liquids directly onto your chain. Let all skin and hair products dry completely before wearing your jewelry.
♦ Plated jewelry should be cleaned occasionally with a very soft chemical-free cloth. Chain can also be cleaned with a damp cloth, making sure to dry it thoroughly before wearing or storing.
