Pair of vintage (1960s) Winterling Roslau WIG224 Bavarian dessert plates featuring images of fresh fruit - apples, grapes, pears - set against deals a pure white ground with a scalloped, gold edge and embossed perimeter details.
In VERY GOOD! vintage condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks, or fleabites and NO! crazing. There is MODERATE! wear to the scalloped, gold edge and a few random scratches to the central fruit imagery which is bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent. The REVERSE! of the plates show LIGHT! wear, noticeable only when they are over-turned.
Approximate measurements: 7-1/2" in diameter (measured edge to edge) with a scalloped, gold edge and embossed perimeter details.
