French enamel coffee pot superb marbled white blue and red vintage 1930's enamel deals jug cafétiere enamelware kitchenalia, antique country decor

A beautiful large marbled blue and white vintage French enamel coffee pot, jug or pitcher. Has a carrying handle at the side and looks like it could could carry about 2 litres of liquid (or a medium bouquet of flowers). Genuine French shabby chic at it's very best. In good usable condition throughout, a true collector's piece.

Definitely a piece from a bygone era, a classic piece of vintage design from the 1930's, in a stunning blue and white marbled splatter enamel, vibrant and shiny. There is a blue enamel detail around the rim.

It is completely intact, including the aluminium coarse deals filter insert, the fine filter has been replaced at some point, and it remains perfectly usable. There are nibbles and chips to the enamel throughout, particularly around the rims, clearly shown in the final image. The inside could be cleaned up further as there are still coffee stains.

Sourced locally from a Brocante in Bordeaux.
