Handmade Stained Glass Triple Pinwheel Appalachian Quilt Square Pattern with Blenko Antique Mouth deals Blown Glass

Add some drama to your window with this 10.5 inch stained glass quilt square! The triple pinwheel is a traditional Appalachian quilt pattern that is beautiful and mesmerizing. Your eye will keep coming back to it. This stained glass panel has rich blue and purple shades of Blenko Glass! Blenko is a mouth blown antique cathedral glass that has incredible character and beauty that will change in mood as the light changes during the day. Blenko is not making their cathedral glass at this time so the glass is hard to get. This piece is a collector's item.

The technique I used to create this panel is the copper foil method that was developed by L.C. Tiffany at the end of the 19th century. The solder has a warm black patina and this piece has a hard metal frame. I attached hanging loops at the top. Copper hanging chain is available in the drop down menu as an option. I recommend this chain as it is strong and matches the frame.

Photographing stained glass is difficult and the colors will change throughout deals the day as the light changes. The above photos are the best I could achieve with natural lighting. One image was taken on a studio light table. I have also included a close-up section details.
