Acrylic: Sunflower and Sunshine deals

Growing up, I never really saw art of black people, especially black women. I didn't realize the implications it would have on my art until I grew older. I wish I had seen more representation of people that look like me, so I made it my mission to create some. I found a pictures on tumblr (where I find most of my inspiration) and decided to recreate it in an aesthetic that spoke to me.
