Mid Century (60s) Cool LARGE CERAMIC ASHTRAY / Very Good Condition / 12-1/2" x 11" deals / Iconic Shape and Design / Fabulous Coloring / Rare Find
Who ever said vintage Ashtrays can't be put to good use these days? How about using this Big Ash (and larger than life) beauty as a jewelry holder, trinket tray, loose change depository, unusual (and quite fabulous!) serving dish or simply for a cooler-than-cool display piece?
This stunning Ceramic Ashtray, with its iconic atomic, MCM styled shape and fabulously vibrant and shiny (and anything but mellow) tie-dye styled, swirl glaze, is truly unique and truly a rare find! Check out those fabulous shades of light browns, dark brows and golds set against a gorgeous white glazed background. This piece is in excellent, like new condition, with no nicks, dings, cracks or scratches - and appears to have never been used!
This spectacular (and spectacularly sized) piece measures an impressive 12-1/2" across, 11" at its widest point and 3-3/4" tall. The inside of the Ashtray has seven raised areas, perfect for holding rings and smaller objects, and the open sections on either side of the Ashtray are large enough to store a multitude of bangle bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pins and watches. It could also be used for storing keys and tons of loose change on an entryway console or as a funky, retro cool display piece on an MCM styled living room coffee table - the uses for this retro fab piece are practically endless!
I sell vintage items - these pieces have been previously owned (and well-loved) and may show signs of wear that are consistent with their age and use. I describe each of the items I list as thoroughly and accurately as possible, including measurements and detailed condition issues (if any). Please read the listing information completely, carefully review all photos, request additional photos (if desired) and ask as many questions as you'd like when considering items from my shop. I want you to be as happy with your purchase as I am to list it for sale!
