Product code: Seth Thomas 1909 Beehive Mantle deals Clock
Seth Thomas wood case Mantel Clock. The case style is generally referred to as "Gothic Arch" as opposed to a "Sharp Gothic" (or "Steeple") case. The model is called the "Stratford" from circa 1909. The clock has a Seth Thomas 8-day Time and Strike No. 89 Movement. That was one of Seth Thomas' most widely used movements from that time period. Unfortunately this clock needs repairs that Inam noy capable of doing and there is no one in my area so I am letting it go. The clock does not wind and from other websites may be missing some pieces but I am not sure. Also the outer ring weld has came loose and the ring does not stay in place but would be easy to solder, but i am leaving that up to the buyer. If the clock cannot be fixed theh it is worth the price in parts alone because they are getting harder to come by as mosy peopoe just throe things away that quit working. I would hate to see such a classic clock frok the time period be lost to the dumpster. Feel free deals to aso any qurstions!.
