On offer is this lovely collectible antique painting. It's in good original condition overall - the oil paint has notable cracked and crazed in areas; there are also small chips and small pieces missing from the gesso encrusted frame; scuffs, scratches and chips also around the edges and corners commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form, oil on canvas and shows a charming majestic windmill with sunflowers in the front garden and a lovely calm blue sky. The detailing is of a good standard and the colors display ever so well.

Singed lower left "I. U", continental, circa late 19th century.

It comes presented in its original wooden frame with gesso/ plaster mouldings deals finished in a now dull gold color. The original glass is also present.

The reverse side shows later paper tape.

It measures a decorative 33.3cm (13 and 1/4 inches) by 43.5cm (17 inches) - outer measurements including the frame - and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
