Babs Creations in New York City created Tic-Toc perfume in 1941. I have seen very few of these bottles with a paper clock and pendulum on the front and screws on the feet where the bottle was deals attached to its stand in the domed box. I have examined this bottle carefully and don't see any sign of a clock face or screws. The metal filigree appears to all be intact (I think it is pewter--it is somewhat pliable). It does appear that the top finial has been glued back on--I always thought this was left over polish residue, but I now think it is very possible it is glue--(and a very nice job). I believe this bottle is a one ounce size. It is approximately 4 inches tall and may have been part of a set.
This would be a beautiful addition to a collection of perfume bottles, and would make a wonderful hostess thank you gift. The bottles I have seen with the clock face have been in the $135 and up range. Since I'm not sure if this bottle ever had the clock face (or screw in feet) I've tried to price it downward accordingly.
