Always working in the “open air” each scene was captured at a particular place and time, as viewed through my eyes on the day it was painted. Beginning this Journey at the age of ten, my work has spanned over 55 years. For the last 38 years I have lived and worked on the Central Oregon Coast. “From nearly inaccessible crevices of deep forest, to our basalt rock shores and ocean swells, beautifully pastured Valleys and fast flowing rivers; I have been, and continue to be, blessed to call the Oregon Coast my workplace, and home. I count my blessings each and every day.” What follows were painted within 20 miles of my home.
