Vintage ZENITH Transoceanic Short Wave Radio (model: 8g005) Does appear to be complete, with full antenna. Plugged in to test, some tubes started to glow and heat up. Did not produce any audio/cracks/noise. No further testing completed as this is outside of my domain. I was able to get ahold of Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) to assist with any additional testing/troubleshooting. I did ponder, “wow, wouldn't this be pretty awesome pumping out some music, while sitting at the beach”…. But then thought.. I don't know if ANY batteries powerful enough to power this fella! Selling “as-is” for repair or decor piece.
