Christmas Gift. Handmade Wood Bowl of Bradford Pear and Mahogany with Raw Edge, Pedestal Candy, deals Potpourri, Small Fruits Dish

This lovely display bowl was hand turned on a wood lathe from Bradford Pear and the base from Mahogany. The top edge of the bowl was left raw and is irregular in shape. It is 6-1/2" tall and 6" in diameter. The bowl itself is 3" deep. The Pear is a warm golden with slightly darker grain areas. The pedestal is Mahogany which is a gorgeous contrast to the lighter Pear. It was all finished with several coats of lacquer to protect the wood and give it a glossy shine. This piece has deals unlimited uses: use it as a candy dish, for potpourri, as a catch-all for keys, etc, dish for small fruit like grapes or lemons, and so many more. Of course for all it's beauty to shine through it's best displayed as a centerpiece on a end or small table. On the other hand.....it would make a lifelong gift for wedding, housewarming or other special occasion.
