Porcelain Vanity Box Germany - Vintage Trinket Dish - Antique Made In Germany - Porcelain Dresser Box - Porcelain Yellow Roses - RS Prussia deals

This is a STUNNING little trinket box with hand-painted yellow roses on it! Antique items are more than a hundred (100) years old. Prussia is a very good way of saying seriously old German. This was made at the beginning of the 1900s. This dish is absolutely gorgeous and the photos do not do it justice. The care that went into this item is amazing! The mould deals shape (flower shape) they used for this item is super unique and I have not been able to find another one for sale or even a sold one for comparisons. There is one chip on the bottom of this beautiful old girl and it looks like it was super well-loved and used. The gold detailing around the bottom of the dish and the edge of the lid has worn off a bit but for her age, that is not surprising. I feel that it doesn't take away from her beauty.

Reinhold Schlegelmilch produced what collectors consider to be R.S. Prussia (RSP for short) in his factory in Suhl, Germany, from the late 1800s through World War I. This stunning piece is marked "R.S. Prussia" in red lettering surrounded by a green wreath so that means it was made at the turn of the last century. This is sometimes referenced as the "red mark" by collectors. The dresser items such as hatpin holders and hair receivers were all made by the Schlegelmilch factory. This sweet box is just under 2.5”/6.5cm tall, is just 4.25”/10.5cm in diameter. It is definitely one of the more fragile items in our shop. A fine piece of history in a light, delicate porcelain. We also have a sugar bowl from R.S. Germany with roses on it in our shop as well.
