Excellent example of art-craft piece made from a shard of a famille rose ware (most probably a vase) from the Guangxu period. Enamelled porcelain piece is coming from the late 19th / early 20th century, from the period of the reign of Guangxu Emperor (14.08.1871 – 14.11.1908), the tenth Emperor of the Qing dynasty. This filigree box, as it is ususally called, is made probably in India using large piece of porcelain vase and metal case. The box is in very good condition deals, without any major damages, clean inside and outside (see pictures). The lid fits snugly and comes off easily.
