This is a unique old boombox. The radio sounds great but the the tape player is not turning.
Overall, the unit is in excellent shape. The exterior is very clean. The handle is sturdy metal. There is light wear on the silver trim around the tape player. The antenna is straight and complete. The inside of the battery box is a little corroded, but cleaned. I do not know if it will run on batteries but I imagine it would. It has the original power adaptor and deals microphone.
It also comes with the original box and paperwork. The box is a little beat up.
The only other issue is that the tuner sticks a little bit. In some areas it can get snagged and needs to be turned a little faster to continue moving through the stations. It still works however and picks up good reception all through the am/fm bands.
I certainly hadn't seen one of these before. It really has the look of an original Boombox.
