Round Rabbit, White Crackle, Smoke, Round deals Bunny Figurine, Cute Decor, Small Art Statue, Handmade Pottery Ceramic Sculpture, Ready to Ship

This round rabbit was fired a bit differently than usual. I made it from crank clay, a very durable stoneware that handles thermal shock well. I glazed it in white.

After the glaze firing, I fired it again in a deals campfire while we camped out. The smoke gave lovely crackles in the glaze and added spots of smoke. The bare clay on the bottom turned gray from the carbon, and one side shows where the flames and coals turned it black. The unglazed nose turned light gray too.

This rabbit is 6 inches tall, 6 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. In some photos I've included a flower and a pint canning jars and so on to give you a sense of scale. This rabbit is heavy and sturdy.

Because it was in a campfire, it has a slight smokey smell, even though it has been scrubbed well. This will linger for quite a while, though it is very faint.
