Handcrafted Coat Barrel Stave Rack from an Oak Whiskey Barrels

This coat rack is made from an authentic Kentucky barrel stave. They are assembled with 4 matte black coat hooks. This would be a perfect addition to any entry way, bathroom or bedroom.


Crafting Process:

1. We sand, stain and coat each barrel meticulously so that it is a finished presentable product. The pictured staves are examples of one of the many we have created. Every barrel stave is different from one another and they may vary in size and color. Some are more narrow than others and some are wider.

2. Stains do take differently depending on the nature of the barrel. Each individual item's appearance and color tone may vary due to the reclaimed barrel material. We will work with you when trying to match furniture pieces and achieve a specific color.

3. Once fully stained a lacquer finish is applied for extra protection as well as to enhance its appearance.

4. Hooks are handpicked and drilled into place. The design of the hooks may vary depending on what is available. Hooks are usually a black or brushed bronze but if you have specific hooks in mind please let us know.

***These staves may have scuffs, cracks, wood knots marks or slight variations in colors that are typical characteristics of a barrel stave and come from natural factors that occur in the wood and handling of the barrels at the distillery. These are sturdy barrels and are not meant to be “pristine” but they definitely will add some charm to your space.***


Dimensions:

-36" Wide
-2-5" Height
-1'' Thick
-Extend 6" from the wall as they are curved to the contour of the barrel
-4 heavy duty double hooks installed (or however many you desire. Hooks can be customized depending on what you are trying to deals hang)

Installation:

-Pre-drilled holes on each end of the stave to attach coat rack to the wall. These two holes once drilled will prevent the rack from moving side to side.
