Product code: Deals 10k Victorian tintype/dagguerotype
⭐⭐⭐PERFECT FOR HALLOWEEN⭐⭐⭐ I bought this being told it's 10k tintype c.1860-1865. The research I've done confirms it is solid 10k, however I believe this is a dagguerotype which makes it c. 1839-1850. It's a 10k victorian hand chased pendant and on the opposite side is hand woven blonde hair encased under glass. The details on this piece are amazing. This piece just under 26 grams, that includes the glass. It is 2 3/4" long including the ring and almost 2" wide. This was sold to me as a tintype however like I said, I believe its a dagguerotype. If you look at this piece it looks like the picture is on a mirror & as you can see when I took a picture with no flash you can see my phone in the reflection but when I use the flash the mother and child appear. It does have tarnishing around the edges which is normal and a few spots inside the picture. This is a beautifully deals tragic piece of history.Last pic is for price comparison of a similar piece.
