FAQ:
What is that white stuff at the end of the stems and can I remove it?
A: I like to put white wax on the ends of my Albo cuttings to help prevent the ends from rotting when I water propagate them. It does not harm the cutting in anyway and you can definitely remove it if you'd like!

Growing conditions:
- Variegated Monstera prefers bright indirect light/growlights, warm temperature (70-78 degree based on our experience), good humidity (we always keep above 60). Highly recommend you give the plant a lot of humidity when receiving it so it can recover faster from the travel stress. I definitely recommend rooting the plant until secondary roots form at least 4-5 inches but preferably tertiary roots before transferring it to soil (aroid soil mix with good drainage)
My personal water propagation instructions:
I like to place the cutting in a glass/vase and submerge the entire aerial root. Change the water once/twice a week. Provide a lot of bright indirect light (East, South, or West window). The cutting may rot if it doesn't get enough light. A grow light will help. Try not to disturb the cutting too much while rooting. You may see rot on the tip of the stem or aerial root while rooting in water. This is normal and do not panic. Just trim the rotted part off once a week and continue to root in water. The rot will slow down and eventually stop once the cutting rooted. One common mistake I see people do is when they see rot, they immediately change to another medium. This will put more stress on the cutting. Please be patient with your cutting.
*The above is just my personal experience for rooting cuttings in water. You do not have to agree or follow these instructions.*
