deals Classical Italian design vintage Murano Venetian red and white zanfirico glass bowl with scalloped edge,

Pretty zanfirico bowl on foot, with scalloped edge. The bowl is composed of clear red glass canes and white netted zanfirico filigree canes, ending up in a scalloped edge on top. Foot itself in clear glass with gold dust, with clear sharp pontil mark on the bottom. The pontil mark has not been polished off, indicating an older production date.

The bowl is in excellent vintage condition, no damages, no chips, no cracks, no fleabites, but you can see and feel some sharper or irregular (tooling) marks from the glass tongs on the edge. The bowl is not signed, but breathes in all respects the traditional techniques of the established glass factory of Salviati, Murano (Venice), Italy (and not Venini)
