Siena, Italy, The Palio. During the summer, this is an exciting time in the city of Siena when the famous 400 year old Palio horse race is held in the city's piazza. Part of the several days of festivities includes a parade of each horse that will represent one neighborhood. The horse is walked around the city accompanied by the men of that neighborhood.
This is an original watercolor not a print. It is printed on 140 lb paper using watercolor paints.
