This impressive and unique large ceramic bowl can be used for serving salads or cooked food or pasta for a large family. Any couple would be thrilled to receive it on their wedding day.

I discovered a dry unusable packet of this clay in my studio and decided that, since the local supplier had none in stock, this was the right time for recycling. I placed the block of clay in a bucket and let it slowly absorb water. After several weeks I finally had moist soft clay to work with. This bowl is the result.
I glazed it in a smooth and shiny sage colored glaze and left the outer surface unglazed to expose the natural dark brown and slightly rough clay. The contrast in this item is not only in color but also in texture. I love it and I'm going to make some more.

My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).
It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.
It is dishwasher safe.
If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 deals weeks.
