This agave became very popular under the name Agave titanota and FO-76 however, it has been named Agave oteroi as it deserves a separate name because of the different region where it is found and the many physical differences it has with A. titanota. Native to the Rio Hondo area of Mexico between Puebla and Oaxaca. This agave features impressive teeth that are dark brown and later dry to bright white. This along with the extra woody section beneath the terminal spines provide a striking contrast against the green leaves. Thick leaves show distinct leaf impressions formed by the teeth early before seperating away from the center cone. deals Shipped bare root without pot or soil. Shown in a pot with a 15" diameter.
