Brass deals Finial large 3" in height Vintage

We have a Brass Finial large 3" in height Vintage item. It is about 3" in h x about 5/8" across the bottom and about 1/4" across the threaded opening. The finial has excess metal on the inside design. I've looked at this a bit and I "think" there is a bird molded into the center, I could be wrong. It is a unique piece in gently used condition. I'm not certain of the age of this item, deals by the way it is made ect I would estimate that it would fall towards the antique category versus vintage.
