Vintage Alpine Carved deals in a Wood Log the Bust of Man Wearing a Derby Hat

This is a most unique European hand carved bust of a man. The bust was carved into a piece of log. The carver left the original logs bark on the back of the carving. I believe the wood is walnut but am not positive. The deals figure is5 1/2" tall and 3" in diameter. The carving is in excellent condition.
