Rare 1959 Mattel Prototype Chatty Cathy Doll in Box. Here is the first 1959 issue Mattel Chatty Cathy Doll. She is a rare prototype and is unmarked. She has a soft face and cloth covered speaker. She is wearing her original clothing. Im just passing on my quick research findings. Box. Doll Dress/blue Bloomers/panty deals Shoes. Hand washed and wiped down gently. Sound box garbled doesn't seem to be working properly tested once due to inexperience and knowledge. Didn't want to make anything worse. Condition is good. Vintage condition looks to be gently used and in good shape for age. There's issues from not having any maintenance 30 years, there's elastic break down in bloomers. It's been in storage and hasn't seen the light of day or humans in many many years I'm not a collector so please ask questions about anything important or about any concerns, do so before you purchase.
