Vintage Napier Mid-Century Lighter and Cigarette Holder set

This gold-tone set is designed and made by Napier in the mid-century. The lighter component is made by Evans. The cigarette cup has a cork-lined bottom on the inside and can hold exactly 20 regular cigarettes. The embossed pattern is rows of scrolling leaf fronds, evoking a Tropicalia or Tiki vibe. The scrolling leaf pattern is very intricate and can also be interpreted as Hollywood Regency in style due to the intricate depth of the emboss.

Imagine how glamorous the original owner was in their day with this set in their home. Nowadays, using for herbals, holding incense (not to burn), or joints.

An excellent gift for the holidays or for New Year's Eve celebrations, or general party times.

Bottom stamps read:
NAPIER

Bottom of the lighter component:
EVANS
USA

Measurements:
Cigarette holder: 2 3/4” w x 2” H
Lighter Case: 2 3/4” w x 2” H
Lighter in Case : 2 3/4” w x 3” H

Excellent Condition. The lighter should be taken to a shop to be refilled and ensure there are no leaks- the lighter has not been tested and is empty so it is safe to ship. The wick is new. There are scratches on the lighter component from removing from the Napier case, this is not visible when the case is on the deals lighter. This is normal wear and tear for removing the lighter for the maintenance of refilling lighter fluid and replacing the flint or wick as needed. The wick lid also has some dark oxidation from the heat of the flame through use. This is normal usage wear and is not considered defective.
