Hand carved chess set the deals board has two drawers that pull out the wood is stained oak all the pieces are hand carved none of the pawns are the same the castles are close but it's all hand carved I'm thinking mid to late 40's Japan. It's really nice. I don't play a lot but I stepped it up as soon as I got it.
