Two White Porcelain Aquarium Decorations A Mermaid and Onion Domed Palace Cold Painted Marked Japan

A duo of delightful nostalgia.

Each is just over 3 1/4" wide, with the building being about the same tall and the mermaid being about 1/4" taller.

Each is marked with the word Japan on the bottom, one in red and one in green. I understand most of these ornaments were made in post-war Japan.

It seems as though there has been significant loss of color on the building and somewhat less on the mermaid, giving each a sense of great age. There is a small chip on the inside foot of the building and a couple of other rough spots. There are also a couple of deals rough spots on the mermaid that could be small chips and a hairline crack across her back. Please see photos for details.
