1950s California Handprints Floral deals Tablecloth | Bright, crisp, vibrant colors on acetate . . . it's beautiful!

This is a stunning California Handprints tablecloth . . of an unusual size :)

* Tag reads, "California Handprints, Reg. U. S. Pat. Off." on the front and on the backside reads, "Creators of Dress Goods, Beach Towels, Table Cloths."

* Measures approximately 52 x 62 inches.

* Fabric is acetate and could be a blend.

* Has a tiny nick at the extreme edge on one side, a curve of a stripe that is evidence of something, perhaps an "iron streak?" It's an odd mark that leaves us wondering not only what caused it, but will it lift as we did not launder this tablecloth, it came to us in its present condition. You will see both in the last two photographs. Also, there are several translucent spots when the light catches them just right. They are camera shy and try as we might we were quite unsuccessful at capturing them in a photograph. Suffice to say, something, once upon a time happened here and left evidence that you can only see in perfect light :)

* Delightful pattern with crisp, vibrant colors suggesting it was never abused or had anything completely untoward happen to it over these past 50-60 years . . . which could have inspired a free pour of bleach to remedy.
