This is an extremely rare and lovely vintage 1940's-1950's India deals made peacock brass pillow purse or handbag. A great purse for a wedding or formal events. It's hand forged out of brass with enamel accents. The clasp works well and has two peacocks as the closure. It opens to a bright red velvet interior There is no serious damage to the piece. There is tarnishing and missing paint in some areas. The chain strap is missing but can replaced by the buyer. The velvet interior has small stains but is intact and has no tears. This purse measures approximately 6 3/4 inches in length by 4 3/8th inches in height, not including the peacock clasp.
