I like to alter wheel-thrown pots and this lady got the oval treatment. She sits gracefully on the counter, and can hold small items like tea bags.

My inspiration comes from flowers and walks in the woods. The colors and shapes reference petals and mountains. I also try to imbue a sense of playfulness in my pottery - to make delightful and useful pots. Making pottery is a practice, and each pot allows me to grow and learn as I try to reach that goal.
