Vintage Rhinestone Encrusted Goldtone Powder Compact by Evans Case Co. aka D. Evans and Co. featuring a powder puff and mirror, circa 1950s. The top of this round-shaped and stunningly sparkly and beautiful compact is filled with a variety of pastel rhinestones, including pink, blue, yellow, lavender, green, and turquoise. The shapes of the faceted and prong-set rhinestones include teardrop, oval, and rectangle making it a unique and eye-catching vintage compact. The back is engine turned. The compact has a clear bezel mirror with only a very slight bit of cloudiness. The original powder puff has the word Evans printed on the rayon ribbon holder.

This compact is in very good condition with no missing rhinestones. The powder puff shows very light use, but could be hand washed and refreshed if desired. The goldtone metal is also in very good condition. The mirror is in good condition with no cracks or chips; very slight cloudiness. The hinge and clasp are in good working condition.

Measures approximately 2 inches in deals diameter.

This lovely Evans powder compact is a high fashion, hard-to-find, and very collectible piece that would make a lovely addition to your vanity collectibles or as a gift to a special woman for Christmas, a birthday, Mother's day, etc.
