Hello, ok so I got these for Christmas the previous year and I bought two. This is mine and I am just not that into it. I opened it and slid the tray out, looked at Eddie and then never did anything with it again. It has been sitting in its box for a couple years, with that said, it's been stored at my partners house and he is a smoker, smoke has never been blown onto it and no staining or anything like that. The toys inside are secured in heavy plastic and have never been opened, also the calendar itself has not been punched out yet, so maybe someone can still have fun punching out the days until you open Eddie. It is pretty cool, I am just into other toys at the moment. Boom box unfolds into a play set area where you can pose figures for photos.
