Salar the Salmon is an inventive work, telling the story of a salmon returning home to the stream of his birth, and the many obstacles he faces on the way. Many of the places and creatures found in the work were first introduced in Williamson's earlier novel 'Tarka the Otter'. Dustwrapper is sound, with chipping and closed tears to the extremities. Slight loss to the head of the spine. Closed tear, approximately three inches in length to tail of the spine. Wrap is rubbed, causing some loss to the silver foil. Creasing to the fly leaves. Scattered spots to the reverse of the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with just the odd spot. Overall: Very Good Indeed
