Very slim (lol) However this is a beautiful working TV lamp from the 50s! It's absolutely gorgeous!! It should actually have a tube lamp in it, but this lamp fits, however it doesn't give off the proper amount of brilliant light!! Please feel free to ask any questions before your purchase, as this cat needs a forever home :) .
